This is a current work in progress. Fan art and my take on Marvels Falcon.
Currently I'm optimizing topology, removing supporting edges, or any other unnecessary topology to lower the tri-count on the low-poly mesh. Its at around 90k, so getting it to a lower more Game-Ready stable tri-count should be a pretty easy task from here. After this, I will be cleaning up my unwrapped model and fit it nicely within its UV space and prep it for Substance Painter and some posed renders.
This piece originally started as a sphere and an anatomy study piece. I usually start with a sphere to challenge myself with anatomy. Looking forward to finishing this up, and I will definitely post an update with a finished version soon!
